The European catfish (Silurus glanis L., 1758) is an important species for the aquaculture sector and production of quality broodstock in artificial fertilization methods as well. One crucial steps determining success reproduction to obtain sufficient good-quality sperm. aim this study compare two different used sperm from catfish. first method surgery extraction testicular taking testicles (CS) second collection by stripping (SS). rate was calculated a percent CS SS groups highest found group (81.87 ± 17.38%). According findings present study, it concluded that not necessary kill male get fertilization.
